I provide an efficient, enthusiastic and friendly service beginning with a pre-shoot discussion to establish your exact requirements. Typically a client’s home or favourite outdoor space is the preferred location for the photo shoot, but if this is not appropriate we can discuss other options.
Time is not limited, but I suggest you allocate about 2 hours for the photo session. However, younger children can find it tiring having a lens pointed at them constantly, so I try to work quickly and rarely run over. I like to take the lead from children, letting them play and have fun, whilst I capture special moments as they occur. I will generally combine this approach with gentle encouragement and direction to achieve the best shots.
Following the session a considerable amount of time is spent editing to give you a varied selection of images. For example: black and white, colour, sepia, square, panoramic, overexposed, cropped etc. I can also rid of the odd wrinkle if you’d prefer!
I will then invite you to view a laptop presentation of the finished images, whereby we can discuss various printing formats and framing options.
N.B. The entire process can take up to 8 weeks, so please book early if you would like prints for a special occasion such as a birthday or Christmas.
